Applicants must be aged 21 or over and account opening is subject to status. Rate shown includes bonus of 0.85% AER payable for the first year. A guarantee that the AER (including the bonus) will be 0.60% above Bank of England Base Rate for a year from the date the account is opened. No minimum investment required but to earn the advertised rate of interest (including the bonus and guarantee) at least £1,000 must be deposited into the account each month (excluding transfers from other Coventry accounts). If you do not make the minimum monthly deposit, then you will only earn a nominal variable rate of interest for the following month.
