'I can't thank you enough right now for helping to bring our focus back to where it should be. Financials don't have to boring, the knock on effects are through your whole life and things will go from strength to strength. Detoxing doesn't necessarily mean saving money - there are far reaching consequences for the future which go over and above financial benefits. I would thoroughly recommend anyone in any position to go through this to improve their life!'
'Just wanted to say Happy New Year and to let you know what a difference you have made to my money situation which has in turn made a huge difference to me and the way I live. For the first time in more than 20 years - I sailed through Christmas without worrying about how I was going to pay for it. We had a lovely Christmas and I felt able to indulge in a few luxuries. Pay day seems a long way off at the end of this month but I have enough money in my account to comfortably get by and pay any bills that come along. For the first time in my life I have savings!
I can't thank you enough. My financial situation is far from ideal in that I still work every day etc but at least I have taken responsibility for my money and I know exactly what I have in my account and I budget accordingly.'
'Getting a clear picture of the situation and facing up to reality was hard, but an essential step. We soon realised that we couldn't make any plans until this stage had been completed.
Consolidating debt into something more affordable has made a significant difference. The loan and credit card debt was unaffordable and we weren't making a dent in the capital debt with the monthly repayments.
The food budget planner was also a great idea. Just taking an inventory of what you have in your cupboards/fridge/freezer and buying around it. We realised we had literally hundreds of pounds of food in our freezer and yet were still buying more!'
