Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks are to launch a new insurance offer next week, providing contents insurance for half the price for any customers taking out buildings insurance. Available from May 16th until July 2nd, the deal covers policies up to the value of £50,000 for contents and £400,000 for buildings cover. "In a climate when people are tightening their purse strings, our contents insurance offer is one of the ways we are supporting our customers," explained retail director for Clydesdale Bank Steve Reid. "We know homeowners look for competitive insurance deals and this offer demonstrates that we are more focused than ever on delivering value for money products." The cover includes contents of outside spaces such as gardening equipment and furniture and high-risk items in the home. Last month, Graeme Trudgill, head of corporate affairs at the British Insurance Brokers Association, said that home insurance premiums will remain fairly stable this year. © Copyright |
