ITN.co.uk – 19th December 2008 One in four deposit accounts pay savers returns of only 1 per cent or less following the recent interest rate cuts. Around 27 per cent if variable rate savings accounts now pay interest of 1 per cent of less, with 15 per cent paying 0.3 per cent or below, according to financial website Moneynet.co.uk. |
