The Independent ( Borrowing on plastic could soon be a distant memory. Andrew Hagger of Moneynet.co.uk says: “Card companies will have to review the way they drive revenue, and it’s highly likely that we may see more providers follow the lead from Egg Money with either monthly or annual subscription fees.”
