The Daily Telegraph ( The minimum amount that credit card holders must repay every month will more than double under a government shake-up of consumer laws. Andrew Hagger of Moneynet.co.uk, the personal finance website said: “The stark reality is that people are being crippled financially while to card providers they represent the ‘ideal customer’ and an opportunity to extract maximum profit.”
