crackdown starts on rip-off credit card companies

Daily Express ( Credit card companies will no longer be able to raise the cost of existing debts or increase borrowing limits without consent from customers as part of a new crackdown on lending. Many borrowers fail to reduce their debts quickly because the minimum payments demanded by lenders have slipped to “farcically low levels”, according to Andrew Hagger, from price comparison service Moneynet.co.uk.
