Daily Express ( As many as four in five savings accounts do not pay hard-pressed savers a “real return” on their cash. Andrew Hagger of Moneynet.co.uk, which carried out the research, said: “With inflation rising sharply, savers need to check their rate to ensure they’re not losing out.”
