The Daily Telegraph (Main) Free banking will come to an end if ruling on overdraft charges today goes against high street banks, according to financial experts. Andrew Hagger, of the personal finance website Moneynet.co.uk, which carried out the research, said: “Whether it’s fair or not, we may have to come to terms with having to pay for our banking, but if we do there will be increased expectations on levels of service and quality of products.”
