The Daily Telegraph (Main) Most higher rate taxpayers will not see any return on their savings, researchers have found. With the Consumer Prices Index rising to 1.9 per cent, just nine out of 744 variable rate savings accounts offer the 3.166 per cent return they need to see a return, according to Moneynet.co.uk.
