Sunday Express (Financial) Consumers are being urged to cash in on the price war breaking out in the current-account market and bag themselves a better deal. Virgin Money is expected to launch a current account later this year with some tempting offers and Tesco Bank are planning to launch current accounts this year. “Apart from a cash incentive, the most likely thing to make a customer switch is poor service or being hit with hefty unauthorised bank charges,” said Andrew Hagger from comparison site Moneynet.co.uk.
