The Daily Mirror (Main) Bank accounts which charge a fee for a bundle of supposed “perks” are fast becoming the norm. Andrew Hagger of Moneynet.co.uk said: “£12.50 doesn’t sound much but it’s £150 year. “A £300 overdraft would cost £48 a year, or £4 a month, if you paid interest at an average 16%.”
