Applicants must be 21 or over and have a regular income of £10,000 or more per annum. Introductory rate of 0% applies for 6 months to balance transfers made within 60 days of opening your account. Also, 0% on purchases for 6 months  from account opening. Charge for balance transfers and cheques is 2.5%. Minimum balance transfer amount is £250 and the maximum must not exceed the lower of £5,000 or 90% of your credit limit. If honoured, any amount in excess of your balance transfer limit will be charged at 6.9% interest p.a., until paid in full, with no handling fee. Barclaycard will donate £5 to the Charities Aid Foundation once the first transaction has been made and then 0.3% of the amount spent on each further purchase. Donations will be divided equally between Marie Curie Cancer Care, Save the Children, Samaritans and the Woodland Trust. Benefits include identity protection service, fraud protection for online shopping, holiday deals with our Travel Service and online account management. Option for text alerts five days before your payment is due. No annual fee. After the 6 month intro period for purchases there is an interest free period of up to 56 days for purchases if you pay your balance in full and on time. Interest on cash will be charged on a daily basis from the transaction date until your account is repaid in full. Interest on balance transfer will be charged on a daily basis from the end of any intro period.
